POPI Non-Compliance

I initially registered online with Builders Warehouse as I was going to order a few items. On further price checking, I found a cheaper price for the items I was looking for and went with that company.

In the interim, my data was uploaded to the Builders Warehouse database and my inbox has been flooded with marketing emails from Builders Warehouse. The most logical option is to 'unsubscribe' but apparently even that is higher grade for the staff at Builders Warehouse. After at least 5 unsubscribe attempts via their website and two direct emails, my details are still in their marketing database and I am still receiving no less than 4 emails per day from Builders Warehouse.

In terms of POPI, I have every right to request that my information be deleted from their databases, and for all contact to cease. Clearly my requests are being ignored and in all honesty I am losing all faith in Builders Warehouse.
