Poor Service from Builders Express Umhlanga

Extremely poor service from Builders Express Umhlanga.

I have had multiple issues with this branch in the past couple weeks. And there is no help from consultant to management.

I have purchased a few supplies a few months back from this branch and misplaced my receipt. Brought the items back to return and produced my bank statements to confirm that the purchases were done at that branch. They were not able to locate the transactions and I was advised by management that I will receive a call the following day as they need to look into it. They did not call. Now I have stuff which I do not require and I am not able to return due to the store refusing to take the items back without the till slip. Can someone please just take the goods back please!

Then on another complaint with the same store. I had purchased a insect killer which did not work for the purpose it was intended for so i brought it back to see if I could return it as it did not work as described. I was told that because I used it I can not return the product. How will I know that the product does not work if I don't use it???

I then proceed to take a different product and was advised by the consultant not to take what I was choosing and rather a different product. I followed the consultants advice and purchased the product.

This product did not work as described so I came back to the store to ask if I can return the product and I was told again No because I used the product!!

Where is the logic in this? How must I know that the product has a problem if I don't use it??? Can someone call me and explain this nonsense. Really pathetic service and I will not recommend this store to anyone!
