Poor service builders warehouse cape gate
I purchased a fridge from the cape gate branch and was told it would be delivered on the 10th of May 2019. Well it is now the 13th of May and I haven't even received a phone call from the Cape gate branch in regards to this matter. I had to personally enquire because how dare I assume they would actually care about the convenience of a customer. Head office has phoned to say how terribly sorry they are...I'm sure they are...
I was also told I can ask my bank to request a refund or come into the store, nice way to shift the blame and get the customer to do your work for you. This will definitely be my last purchase from this utterly useless store.

16 May 2019, 18:02I really thought this was going to work, spoiler alert! it did not.
Update: I have been promised about 5 times already that my fridge will be delivered...I can inform you that a builder's warehouse promise means nothing...now a new player has entered (Stanley, the sales manager) and I will now definitely, but not promised (would that make it better?), that i will get a fridge on Saturday. Apparently I won't have to pay for delivery...yay. what. a. saving. for the inconvenience it should have been free.
Additional query: should a fridge ever be opened and inspected by a builders warehouse employee and then rewrapped or am I getting a demo model from another branch (Helderberg)? Apparently it doesn't come in a box? I will inspect the fridge when it arrives and give another update...I hope this is not the case.
