Poor service at Wonderboom

I am highly disappointed with the service I received from Builders Wonderboom and Builders Montana branches. I feel compelled to share my experience after wasting my time, money, and fuel due to false information provided by their staff not once, but twice.

First, I visited the Montana branch to purchase a toilet advertised for R1999. I was told it was out of stock, but they referred me to Wonderboom Express, claiming it was available there. I drove all the way there, only to be told the item was not in stock. That was a complete waste of time and petrol.

If that wasn’t enough, I later called the Wonderboom branch to ask if they had black aluminium strips in stock. I was told they had them, so I drove there again only to be told upon arrival that they were not available. Another pointless trip and more petrol wasted.

What’s worse is the attitude of the staff—as if these mix-ups are a joke. There was no apology, no urgency, no accountability. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and communication from what is supposed to be a trusted brand.

This level of service is completely unacceptable. I expect to be taken seriously as a paying customer and for Builders to ensure that their staff provide accurate information. I hope this complaint will lead to some form of internal review or corrective action.
