POOR DIY QUALITY

A family member recently purchased a DIY chest of drawers and asked that I assemble the unit for her. I assembled the carcass and noted that the drawer side panel runners were installed with only 2 *****s each. I then assembled the drawers and noted the same with the drawer runners.

One of the drawer side sections was slightly damaged which I glued and then assembled. I then attempted to install the drawers and as imagined the drawers do not fit as the runners are fitted out of alignment and even though I understand what is necessary to mend the problem, we decided to leave this and ask that you collect these and refund the money.

That the manufacturer could fob off something as poor as this and reduce the *****s to two where many more should be fitted is an insult to your customer as the chest of drawers is doomed to fall apart. The runner mechanism flex without load, which extrapolates to excessive wear in a short space of time.

PLEASE REFRAIN FROM TREATING YOUR CUSTOMER BASE IN THIS MANNER!

I personally would never buy these products.
