Pathetic service from Builders Warehouse

Builders warehouse is currently advertising a white quadrant shower which none of their branches have stock of. I have been assured by the operators at their 086 number that various stores have stock and after spending days going from store to store after being given assurance by the 086 operators that stock is available at those stores, I have had no success in sourcing one from their numerous branches. I was informed last week one will be sourced and after being told yesterday yet again that I can get one at Northgate Brach in Cape Town, I wasted another morning only to be informed they do not have it. The 086 system is a frustrating disaster as they do not phone back when promising to do so and they send the customer from store to store assuring stock is available when no stock is available. I almost took another 90km drive to Worcester as the lady on 086 told me they have 17 in stock. Fortunately i managed to get in touch with the store to be informed they have none. I have started a renovation based on the availability of this product at the price advertised and am delayed for over a week after spending hours going from store to store upon direction of their staff. They are still advertising it and on line it still shows available in certain stores when in fact there has not been and is still no stock in the Western Cape and probably not countrywide. Northgate Island Branch refused to give me the detail of a National contact person with whom I can discuss the matter. They then ended the service call by simply giving me the same *********** 086 number (which I informed them does not work) and which again wrongfully directed me to Worcester 90km away. Absolutely no client care skills. I asked them why are they running specials on products they never had and cannot source and was advised that if they remove the add from the internet, they cannot place it again at a future date should they get stock. With this mentality the burden is on the customer to waste time and money going from store to store who according to their system has stock, but never had.
