Pathetic service at Builder's Warehouse, Gezina

Just to let you all know what pathetic service I encountered at the Builders Warehouse in Gezina on Saturday.

I went to Builders to purchase a 3m length square tubing.

I was told that they had stock of the item but that they needed to check physical stock. On checking the physical stock I was advised that they didn't have any stock but, that they had the same item in 6m lengths.

I said great, I'll take one of those items but that it needed to be cut into two parts so that I could fit it in my vehicle.

The sales person checked with some guys sitting around and they advised that they were unable to cut the square tubing for me.

Regrettably I had to decline to purchase the square tubing.

But, the story doesn't end there.....

On Sunday morning I went to my local Mica store and found the same square tubing in stock, but only in a 6m length. They gladly agreed to cut the item into 3 parts so that it would fit in my vehicle.

The biggest bonus of all was the price.... Builder's price for the 6m square tubing was R520 for the 6m length. I purchased the same exact same product for R390 at Mica, representing a saving of R130 or 25%!!!

Clearly Builder's do not need clients like me.... and a million other people like me out there....

Since then I'm a Mica fan!
