Pathetic Customer Service

Extremely poor service. I ordered an inverter from the Pretoria Zambezi branch even though it is very far from me, because I was in need of the item badly and it was the only branch displaying the item as being in stock. Ordered it for next day pickup. Only for me to have to find out that my pickup was cancelled and postponed by a week. I was not communicated this in anyway and only found out about it by luckily checking on my order before leaving to drive to the branch what would have been an hour's drive. After multiple phone calls and broken promises of them getting back to me during the course of the next week, they eventually wanted to postpone the order even more and blamed me for ordering something that is not in stock. This is something that is not even possible to do on their website, but explaining that to them was not worth my time. They then wanted to hold my money ransom by explaining to me that it will take an obscene amount of time for my refund to appear in my account. It is fine, I will rather wait then have to deal with such shockingly bad service.

Please learn from my mistake and never trust Builder's online store as items displayed as "in stock" might not actually be available and it might not be in stock.

In fact I am still waiting for my refund 2 weeks later....
