Online shopping service [and goods] non delivery

I have had consistently disappointing experiences with Builders Warehouse's online shopping platform, having encountered significant issues on three separate occasions.

For my most recent purchase, the delivery failed to arrive on the scheduled date. Despite following up daily, I was repeatedly assured the delivery would take place the following day. On the fourth day, I unexpectedly received a credit note via email. Upon inquiry, I was informed that my order had been cancelled and returned to dispatch, though no explanation was provided. Once again, I was promised delivery the next day, but this never materialized. When I opted to collect the items from the store, the staff were unable to locate the products.

In a previous instance, an order was delayed by several months, and the proposed resolution was to cancel the order and issue a credit note.

It appears that the standard approach to resolving issues is to cancel transactions rather than addressing and rectifying the underlying problems.

Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend Builders Warehouse's online shopping service.
