One of the worst shopping experiencies ever.

Strubens Valley .

Pathetic. I will NEVER shop at a Builders again and will try and convince everyone I know and people on social media not to as well.

Today at Strubens Valley * The information desk directed us to an aisle (#38) that did not exist in the store at all. * 12 items I wanted I did not purchase as there was no price - the electronic price tag system was not working on most of the items. * I approached a shop assistant in the plumbing for an item. When we found it there was no price again. He handed it to me and I asked the price and he walked off, sighing, and saying that "he had now to go and find a code and look it up" sigh etc. * I then asked him to call a Manager. He refused saying "Why should he call a manager?". I explained why he should. He still refused. * I asked the Information Desk to call a Manager. They apologised but did not seem to know how to call a Manager. * Eventually, a "Manager" appeared. He then asked me who the staff member was? I advised I did not have his name, but offered to take him to the staff member. He came reluctantly. * The "Manager" explained the electronic prices were blank in a number of cases because "they were changing pricing". Strange, because the system they are using is meant to instantly change prices. * He then started to talk to the shop assistant but did not address any of the issues I had raised. * The shop assistant remain slouched in his chair as he was clearly to tired stand up to participate in the conversion.

There is a competition store across the road. Wonderful service. Don't waste your petrol - just cross the road and go to the opposition there!
