Not able to close account Builders Warehouse, empty promises

I have an account with Builders warehouse and want to close my account. I sent two emails to ask for the settlement amount which they supp****. I paid the settlement, but no one closed my account. After another email, my account is still open. I then phoned the head office, and they promised to close the account within 24 hours. Now two weeks later, my account is still available. How is it possible to close an account with this company???? Pathetic from them. I will never support them again.
