No more Builders Wharhouse for me ….no thanks

Good Afternoon

To whom it may concern I have been living in the Centurion area now for 19 years and being a Sales Manager myself I have to say that I'm shocked at the difference between Builders Warehouse Centurion Branches and other similar business

Today I again decided to visit the Builders at Mall at Redds and not to my surprise the service is still shocking I spend a lot of time looking around and not only does no one greet you but the lack of staff that want to help you is so sad , the Builders in Lynnwood road is marginally better but by 2% and as such I must believe the Builders Wherehouse culture is one of let's avoid the customer , do not greet them , do not ask them if they need assistance

The Builders Warehouse in Lynnwood the staff member will tell you we don't sell that and then you find the item yourself in the shelves . The Builders Warehouse at Mall at Redds has the most unfriendly staff that avoid eye contact on purpose and today I walked out there and did not buy the cordless drills I wanted to as I refuse to accept that the staff keep ignoring me and I was standing there at the drills in view of the tills and manager several times.

The best of the all (I actually mean the worst )is Builders Warehouse in Centurion close to Chamberlains , now here is the joke that they are a stone throw from Chamberlains and still the staff there will not only ignore you , but even act like they didn't see you trying to get their attention and walk away from you with speed I may add

The last lady that avoided me at Builders Centurion was in such a rush to get away from me she nearly did not make the corner and almost collided with the shelf on the corner of the aisle. So out of curiosity I followed her , only to find her having a huge conversation with her co-workers and laughing and joking but no intention to help me. That is when I realised as a customer, I have no value to you and your staff

Interesting if we had a difference of opinion or fight or if I was rude, I could understand but we have not engaged at all , also interesting in all these shops the Managers are never on the floor to assist and in all of them the cashiers is the friendliest .

On the opposite side of the coin, you can drive to any Chamberlains in centurion or Pta east and you have the exact opposite Chamberlains staff are friendly and greet , assist and walking up and down the aisles to assist and chat to you with advice , even make suggestions when asking about your project They are much more customer focused and mainly it feels that you can talk to a fellow human being At Builders, the staff make you feel as if they are doing you a favour to talk to you

When you drive to a Chamberlains the parking is fully packed and makes you look for parking as they are popular and cheaper most of the time Interesting how among friends , family, and people I know they all have the same experiences with your retail shops

So in closing unless hell freezes over, and I have no other choice in an emergency you will not see me supporting you at all I don't have any control and make choices for my family , friends and other people who make use of your shops, but they also feel you won't get their money either .
