No communication

Why is there a collection date if you can't collect your goods on the set date and then you don't receive any communication regarding your goods. I purchased a hob and oven online on the 12th of March the collection date was for the 22nd of March a date I didn't choose. I called on the 20th of March to check if the goods is ready for collection on the 22nd since I did not receive any feedback or communication. The lady told me the stock isn't ready they will call me later to tell me when to collect the goods I haven't receive any calls nothing. I know it's a difficult time now but a email or phone call will help. I have two small children and have to buy take aways unhealthy food this is very difficult for me because we don't have a stove now I have to wait even longer I don't even know when will it be ready cause I'm not receiving any communication.
