I purchased an Xpanda Aluglide gate at the Northgate store in Cape Town - I had employed someone to install the gate at the weekend. On opening the pack he discovered that the kit containing the lock, *****s and handles were missing - I am now paying the gentleman by the hour. He suggested I go to a local hardware , as I'm situated in Claremont and purchase a kit with lock, handles etc so he could continue. This I did at an additional cost (bearing in mind the Gate is R3200, the labour R1000 and the additional lock R291) Today I go back to Builders Northgate to be told at reception, that this is a matter for the manager, he was in the store but couldn't/wouldn't come and speak to me - I had to leave my phone number and he will get back to me. A very disgruntled customer. That lock kit was obviously removed from my gate pack and given to another customer. So I have a gate with no handles that cost me R4500
