Misleading Product and False Adverti*****t

Hi Builders Warehouse Team, I purchased a _Home and Kitchen 2 Door Contractor Built-In Cupboard White – 1200 x 450 x 1800 mm DIY Wardrobe_ online. The product was explicitly advertised as a “built-in” unit, and I also purchased the recommended installation service on that basis.

Upon arrival, the installation team confirmed the product is a free-standing wardrobe, not a built-in as described. This constitutes false and misleading advertising under Section 29 and Section 41 of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008. I spent 40 minutes on a call with the retailer attempting to resolve the issue. No clear explanation was provided and my complaint was not properly recorded. I have made multiple follow-up attempts with no success.

I specifically required a built-in cupboard and would not have purchased a free-standing wardrobe. Please resolve this as soon possible.
