MISLEADING ONLINE INFO, NON-EXISTENT COMMUNICATION, UNTRAINED STAFF

Reading other reviews, my experience is obviously not unique with online shopping.

Placed order number *** on 4 July for collection at the New Market, Alberton store. Received confirmation relatively quickly that the order is "partially" complete. No telephone call, no e-mail, absolutely no explanation for what "partially" would mean ? Had to drive there to find out that although the website indicated 4 of a particular light in stock, the store actually only has 2 in stock. Upon asking the online counter assistant, so what now - do they not try and source stock from another branch, do I get a CR ? To which he responded "I don't know". Left me to call a manager - I waited for 10 minutes for the manager to make an appearance and left as I couldn't wait any longer. I don't have my items and I am yet to receive any further communication from Builders.
