Late delivery, now out of stock

I ordered an item over the internet, ensuring that I selected a store that had stock of the item. I left 3 working days for delivery. I received confirmation of my order and the delivery date.

On the scheduled date, no delivery. I called Builders warehouse, and they apologized but could not tell me why they had not delivered. They assured me that they would deliver the next day.

The next day, no delivery. I called once again. Only to be told that the item was now out of stock. When I expressed my frustration, the agent told me he would find out what they could do and call me back.

No-one has called me back.
