Item advertised but not available

Builder's warehouse has a Megamaster 260 pan advertised on sale for R190 but none of their stores have stock of this item and neither have they received stock in the last week even though builder's has this "promotion" running until the 22 Oct. I saw online that the Newmarket store has one in stock and luckily before buying it online I called the store who advised me that this is a counting mistake and they do no have it. They've had numerous clients looking for this item but no stock. Why does builder's put this item on sale if they don't have it. This is false advertising and misleading the public. It's almost as if they are trying to lure clients to the store under this false pretense in order for them to then end up buying something else due to them already being there.
