***ist unprofessionalism

Had the most disgusting service in my entire life. I had purchased a window stay from Builder's Express on Lynnwood Road and unfortunately it was 1 cm too short. So I took it back to the store. When I arrived there was no one at the help desk so I proceeded to the desk close to the paint section to ask if they had a slightly longer stay. The gentleman who was at the desk took me to where the stays were located. He then told me that I could use a window catch instead and just fit it onto the stay. So I asked him if he was certain that it would work and then he went on to ask me if I had a man by the house that would know what to do. I was absolutely disgusted that this man thought that I am some hopeless woman who doesn't know how to work with tools. When I told him that the entire stay was damaged and if they didn't have the correct one for me then I would like to get a refund. Again I was so shocked because this man just threw the stay I brought back on the floor and just walked away as if I was wasting his time. And it gets even worse. When I got to the till to process the refund the ladies at the till started to mock me and my name in their language thinking that I didn't understand what they were saying.
