Inexperienced staff , and horrible service from the manager.

On the 05 -12-2020 my husband and I went to builders to buy black paint to finish of our scurtings and wall. We were advised by one of the paint (supposedly) expert to go for the brand abe black paint little did we know it was water based roof paint. We opened the the paint and saw that it was a brown chocolate brown , thinking that it might turn black I used a small paint brush and literally painted one stroke to see if it’s going to change black , however it remained chocolate brown cause the paint is not for indoors, I went back today wanted to exchange the painting thinking that it was going to be no problem swopping the paint out , however the manager Johan at the Parow branch refused to even take the paint . We went back and forth as I told him there is literally 99.9% of paint in the tin. His argument was that it was opened and used the 0.1% that I used and his not going to take it back. Horrible management skills as he spoke to me like I was suppose to know what paint I buy before purchasing yet if his staff was trained properly we wouldn’t have gotten roof paint I mean really we asked for normal black paint. I will never set my foot in that branch ever again. Utterly disgusted and disappointed .
