I don't recommend ordering online
I do not recommend placing orders online with Builders warehouse. I placed an order online which was scheduled for delivered on the 15th May - but they never pitched (first fail). Only after I contacted their call centre (second fail), was it delivered a week later on the 22nd (third fail). However... when it arrived it was missing items (fourth fail). The delivery people insisted I sign for delivery and I insisted a note be written on the delivery note to indicate items were not delivered - much to their protest (fifth fail) (...and doesn't this happen often enough that there should be SOP for this??!). They promised to deliver the missing items the followig day before leaving. (ironically the missing items were too large for me to pickup myself and the only reason for me ordering online in the first place). When I checked the items that were delivered in the packaging after they left, I realised they had sent me aluminum rivets - when in fact I ordered steel rivets (sixth fail). So I had to call their call centre again to explain that they had not delivered items and also sent incorrect items. They promised they would contact the store manager and call me in the morning to confirm everything is arranged (i.e. bring correct rivets and missing items which was promised). I think by now you know what happened next - yes you guessed it - they did not call me (seventh fail) nor did they pitch up (eighth fail). So I decided to keep a record of everthing (because trust is eroding) and emailed them with the whole storey instead of calling. They never got back to me after several days.. So I had to call... The person that answered the call was the same agent that promised to call me (what are the chances), I let her know she had not kept her promise to call me, nor had the delivery people. Of course they apologize but follow up with more empty promises which I exlained is much worse and not to do it, all I expect is an honest ETA when thingss will be sorted out. (you won't believe me but I'm still being friendly and patient with them at this point...) Now seriously you won't believe it but the exact same thing happened. The store manager never called as promised (ninth fail), nor did the agent (tenth fail). So I had to call them again... This time it was a different agent and I had to expain everything... and it felt like I had to explain it six times as if it is complicated... (a) bring missing items, (b) bring correct rivets and take back incorrect rivets), anyway - try to stay calm. Again they attempted to get the store manager to call me which by now it seems to me was probably never going to happen (more empty promises). Indeed they didn't call (kinda expected, does it still count as a fail? ..head scratch..) so this time I got angry and called to speak to a supervisor/manager. Explained everything to their manager (call centre) and he said he'd call me back in a few minutes. He did called me back! (**** yeah - WIN) But said store manager is claiming this is the first time he is being made aware of this and will need to investigate and get back to me the following day. I was litterrally flabbergasted and couldn't believe what I was hearing - they have several emails and phone calls all about this for the past month. I was seriusly stunned by what he said. The manager gave me assurance they would contact me the following day (which by now I know is not happening) and damn I'm counting this one! (eleventh fail). I called them again... (geez how much is this costing me... :|). This time they gave me the store phone number instead of acting as a middle man and said I can call the store manager directly. I didn't speak to the manager, but the the person that I did speak to about knew everything and asked if they could come deliver the missing items and bring the correct rivets the next day. That day is today folks... and guess what... yes you guess it is another fail - they brought only the missing items and not the correct rivets (what rivets they asked me??) (twelth fail). To top it all off - they told me to take rivets myself back to the store and exchange them. Can you believe that? order online, they bring you the wrong thing, and tell you to take it back yourself and exchange it!!! (thirteenth fail) So I phoned a ***ed them out now from a dizzing height (no jokes) and wrote this - further wasting my time!
Thank you for your feedback.
I am really sorry to hear the service you have received and for all the inconveniences caused, I definitely understand where you're coming from regarding your shopping experience. This is not the kind of service we'd ever want you or any of our customers to have.
It concerns me to hear that everyone you spoke to didn't assist you effectively, I will have these concerns addressed with the relevant people to ensure that you receive better service.
Please do expect a call from me after having followed up the necessary, I wouldn't want to have a negative impact on your time, would like to ensure a pleasant and sensible way forward.

Joshua
