Horrible Customer Service

We were at Builders Warehouse Raslouw on Saturday, 20 Jan 2024. We spent a little more than R1000 on garden supplies.

I bought two hose sprayer attachments and opened them both on Saturday, but only used one.

When I wanted to use the other one on Monday, I saw that the trigger you use to spray with was broken and immediately went back to the shop.

I explained to the lady that I am aware that as per the policy we need the slip and packaging to return/exchange, but unfortunately we already threw it away as we did not know the item was defective. She was very friendly and said she will try and see what she will do and called her manager/supervisor.

This is when our bad experience started. From the get go this lady was extremely rude and refused to listen to any reason, nor did she try to find an alternative solution such as running the card number to be able to see the purchase. She clicked her tongue at us and rolled her eyes when my husband asked her questions pertaining to the exchange/refund.

We left without being assisted as she just shrugged.

Horrible customer service. Will take our business to Chamberlains in future.
