Goldair 4 burner gas hob,

Bought a Goldair 4 has burner hob in December 2023 from Builders Warehouse Montana, after taking it home I wanted to make sure it was safe to use-so basically connected a gas bottle, regulator and pipe to it to test it before installation. So I found that it was leaking gas on what seems to be the internal circuit of the hob, or perhaps one of the burners on top. Took it back to builders in January 2024 and explained the situation to them, they insisted they require a COC or COI from an accredited installer before warrantying it, where I explained once again that it was not installed but only tested. After a few weeks asked them again if they are going or willing to test the unit and declare it safe, they rep**** again they need a COC. To mention also that there were no SABS certification in the inside of the box of this product, also no certificate stating it was tested and safe. Extremely disappointed with the way this is being handled from the staff at Builders Warehouse Montana. The product is still with them and we are now in March.
