Ghosted and left cold!

I am regular customer at Builders for my DIY needs. On around 24 June I purchased a 48kg gas cylinder online. The website indicated delivery within 2-5 days. By day 10, no delivery. Day 11- told IT glitch, expect delivery Monday Day 14 Monday 9th June. Escalated to 3 Senior Managers; informed that we owe some money since June 2024 so our order could not be delivered. Not once was an Invoice sent, neither has this said amount been flagged in over 20 visits to the store. Next thing my order was cancelled without any call back. Is this how low customer service has stooped? Does this mean I still owe the company and will be penalised at my next purchase.. by ambush as was the case with this online purchase. R500 of calls and waiting..delivery delayed, false promises of delivery and now left in the cold!!
