i have a builders credit account, last year December 2018 a stranger registered on self service portal using my Builders details, i received an sms that says thank you for registering for self service after i received another one that says you successfully logged on to the builders credit app, immediately i called their customer services department and informed them about this, they were able to reverse an amount of R14000 that this ********* was trying to still from my account and they blocked my account . this matter was reported to their ***** department and submitted all the documents that they needed as proof because they wanted to investigate and they advised that the investigation will be finalized after 21 working days till today 12 March 2019 no feedback, i am really worried about my credit profile as i was told not to make any payments until everything is finalized and this R 14000 reflects on my statements. builders customers be aware.
