***** check - waste of time and paper

What idiot decided to implement this new photocopying of your ID/Lic when using a Builders card?!

They've obviously never been in a store and tested the process. Today was quiet, tellers were open and it was bad enough.

The teller now has to get up, walk to a copy machine, make a copy and return to the desk. Do you have any idea how ****** inconvenient that is?! Just imagine when it's busy.....

This will NOT stop *****, esp since my teller didn't even check the $#&@ lic against the details on your system!

I can understand having to show your ID but to actually have it copied. Think about it for a minute. There's no record of what date or time that copy was made and to which card it was linked to, therefore absolutely ZERO way of protecting yourselves against ********** purchases. I did not see.my teller staple it to the receipt or any such thing. You cannot prove to anyone that you checked the ID or which one was used for the purchase.

Next time don't just implement some brain **** idea before thoroughly testing it and seen the impact on the customer!

I for one will now be paying cash/credit card if this process isn't rectified asap becaue there's now a major negative using the builders card.
