False information

So a year back or so I bought a chainsaw and they person that was helping me said that if I buy a Ryobi product I have 2 year warranty where if it broke I can bring it in and they will replace it for me. So about a year later one of the *****s that hold the blade in place striped because it is in plastic so I took it back and they send it in for evaluation. Later they phoned me and told me that the repairs are going to cost me almost R800 and the product is R1000. So I told them that is not what they said when I purchased the item. And they refused to see my point of view because they said the product is only replaced if it is not abused. Not if it was abused the motor would not have worked and the blade will be blunt. I even cleaned they product after every use.<br> Very poor service and will definitely advice not to buy from them.<br>
