False advertising, Misinformation and horrible oversight

I purchased a Defy top loader washing machine online that was on sale, the purchase was made on the 18th of June and delivery was stated for the 1st of July. I called Builders to confirm the delivery but was informed that there was no stock in their warehouse or at Defy and thus I could wait for stock to arrive or cancel my order. I called Defy and was informed the particular washing machine in question was discontinued and thus Defy no longer would be manufacturing the machine for distribution. Yet builders said I could "wait" for a machine that would never arrive. First and last experience with Builders
