False advertising, incorrect information from Builderswarehouse .

Yestersday 10/04/2019, I inquired thorough the the call center about a product ( Stock item no : 625077, at a price R100 dispalyed on the site) , i was reliably informed of the stores near me where it was available. I chose CraighallPark , a store closer. I was informed that they have 5 available and I only needed 4. They call center even gave names , Clint or Zokozani , as the contact people at the store. I asked for the store telephone number , and i was informed that "The store is Routed to the Contact Centre ".

I was extremely dissapointed when I got to the Craighall Store , there were no items reserved. The lady I spoke to ( sorry did not take her name, but can point her if need be) , informed me there was no Clint or Zokozani at store . The store had only 2 of these items selling at R120 each ( note - not R100 as dispalyed on the website). I reluctantly took the two as I had no choice.

This is bad service , coupled with bad if not false advertising. To my amazement there were a number of phones ringing at info desk , implying that " The store is Routed to the Contact Centre "was a lie. Why lie ? Why not give the number so that the customers like myself can deal directly with the store.

This was a real waste of my time. I think the store ought to compensate me for the time I wasted in going to this store, as today i need to scout for the other two.

The staff at the store were pleasant.
