FALSE ADVERTISING!!!! BEWARE!!!

Builders was furiously advertising yesterday (09 May 2021) a Weber OneTouch braai for R1044-00 on their website headed promotion valid until 06/06/2021. Further to this, it did not even have the caption "while stocks last".

On 10 May 2021, I visited the website again to purchase it online but I could not do so as it said that the product was not available. I then called several stores in KwaZulu-Natal and was disappointed each time. The callcentre agent in Riverhorse Valley even advised that I could purchase online and fetch from the store (builders calls are recorded). At the store I advised the salespeople that I would pay for 3 units and collect once same arrived at their store, however, when the salespersons went on the website to locate the code, the adverti*****t had vanished from the website. I find this appalling and this amounts to serious false advertising. It is disgusting that such a large franchise is so decieving!! I have SEVERAL pictures to prove and will lay a complaint with the Ombud's Offices for Consumer Goods and Services. This is unacceptable. I will not be supporting this company anytime soon. Sorry Builders but you will not be able to get away this time.
