False Advertising

On Saturday there was an add on their Website for a 2V Sidelight (600mm x 2.1m) for R 1 499.00. I then called their call center and asked if there was stock at the store in Parklands and was told unequivocally YES. I then drove from Atlantis and decided to also by the sliding door (2.4m x 2.1m) as I am doing some renovations soon (Which I bought). When I arrived not only did they not have stock but the price was R 2 100.00. *** as they said they can order it for me and have it delivered fro another R 600.00. How is that when the Company that makes the damn door (Swartland) is about +- 3 Kilometers from my home. I thought I was alone but when you look at the amount of complaints on Hello Peter and frequency of the countless shockingly poor service remarks I am blown away. Surely something must be done about this false advertising to get you to visit there store where the staff are so rude as if they are doing you a favor. THIS IS AGAINST THE CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT and I will report this.
