FALS ADVETIMEST

On August 13, 2025, Builders advertised the Power Plus Vacuum Cleaner Wet and Dry 1000 W (POWX322) at R290.00, with a delivery fee of R120.00. I placed an order and made payment accordingly.

Today, I received the following communication:

Hope this mail finds you well.

Please be advised that your Builders Online Order will be cancelled due to the supplier not having stock and the item being discontinued. A refund was processed under your name (Builders Profile).

Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

This response is unacceptable for the following reasons:

1.A discontinued product should not have been advertised or made available for purchase. 2.I was not contacted to discuss alternative options before the cancellation. 3.A credit was processed to my Builders profile without my consent. 4.The payment was debited directly from my bank account, and I expect the refund to be processed in the same manner.

as per Section 19 of the CPA, as a customer, I demand that the product I paid for be delivered, or alternatively, that the full amount be refunded directly into my bank account immediately.

I WILL ESCLATE THIS TO THE AMBUD IF NOT RESOLVED TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
