Extremely bad service from Builders Northrand Boksburg

On the 23 May we went to the new Northrand Road Builders to purchase a few things. We had good service from the gentleman in the light department that day however we were not sure if we had the right size globes but we were assured that if it was not we could return them. Since we live in a retirement village we only get a pass once a week to do our shopping. So on the 29 May we take the one globe that was not right back with our receipt and we get told we did not buy it from them as it had a Mica Benoni sticker on it. We tried to explain that we did not even know where that store is. So we were told to speak Stephen who will assist us. Needless to say he did not both to come see us instead sent another guy to come see us. Oh my word he said he needed to go check on the video cameras to see if we did buy the globe from then. I said to them that we have the receipt even with the other companies name on it it scanned on their system with that companies barcode. After 30 minutes I left the product and the receipt with the store with Amanda as our witness as the guy who took the globe and our receipt still had not returned. All this for R25. So we purchased the correct globes which cost 3 times more than the one we returned. We got top class service from Leroy Merlin when we returned an item that did not work which cost way more. I’m done with bad customer service in this country I don’t need to shop at stores that treat people as if they are *****. They can keep the R25 as we will not shop in a Builders ever again.
