Employees either sleeping or just staring at me?!

Today, I decided I’ve got quite a few things to do around the house this weekend, let me stop at Builders Warehouse Gezina that’s on my way home, and puck up supplies. Little did I know that it would turn out to be the worst customer service EVER!

I drove in, got greeted by the car guard and proceeded to walk in store. Not knowing where exactly to begin and I had time to spare, I briefly walked through the shop looking at specials etc. I then realized, the further I got, the more staff just look at me and offer no assistance... that’s for those who were awake. The rest are all sleeping on the floor?! In the 40minutes that I spent in the store, no one even gave a hint of an idea that they are going to help me today! I used to work for a MassMart store and as far as I know, this isn’t protocol? The most attention that I got from anyone in this store was once again the car guard who was trolling for tips! You might think, why not ask for help? But I was passed that already. Walking passed people yawning so big and loud out of the back of their lungs, do they really want to help me? So no, I walked out, took a bit of a turn and walked into Chamberlains, where since I put my foot in the door, someone said “Hi Sir, can I help with anything?”
