ELBA FREESTANDING GAS OVEN AND HOB PRICE INCREASE

On the 14th of March 2015 walked into the Builders Rivonia to get prices on the elba gas hob and oven 90cm freestanding unit. The marked price was R9990, had a chat to the person assisting in that department asked about how many were in stock. Went back today the 22 March 2015 to purchase the unit and the price has increase to R11990. I went to speak to the manager at the store Roland Cotty and explained the situation, he said it was on promotion and the promotion had ended. I said i can understand that but the person who assisted me the week before should have mentioned that to me when intact they said nothing about the product being on promotion. He went to speak to Mark Koekermoer and they came back with a 10% discount so i would have had to pay and extra R1000, i said that i am not willing to accept that. The stock is not new stock and my feeling was that they should have given the item to me at the R9990 price, especially seen as though i had a photo of the price tag from the week prior. When i recently renovated my house i spent a considerable amount of money at Builders and am gutted that they would not help...will NEVER buy from them AGAIN...BOYCOT BUILDERS
