Don't buy online at Builders Warehouse.

Never order online with Builders. Ordered a Gentech generator online for R20000 on the Friday which advertised in stock at Sunningdale branch. Delivery was indicated the following Tuesday. Then the following day an person emailed me to say there was no stock, although they had taken my money. The person who emailed left ony a name, with no contact or position in the company. So I complained with the online order section and they told me they would source stock. Anyway, a week or so later while at work, out of the blue, a sms arrived at 7am to say they are delivering at 8am! The courier was Wumdrop which you have no way of contacting. Eventually I was able to contact the driver and told him to come in the evening. So we agreed on a time, but instead he took it back to the warehouse saying customer not available and Builders cancelled the order! I had to repurchase and luckily just in time, as they were about to sell the generator to another client! So I had to call the warehouse to reserve my generator! Rather pick items up yourself. Don't trust Builders or Wumdrop to deliver your item.
