Don't buy carpets from Builders Warehouse

Last year December I bought fitted carpets from Builders Warehouse (BW). BW used an external contractor to install the carpets. All went well with the installation, however the contractor mentioned that he had problems with his bakkie (utility vehicle) and would not be able to remove the old carpets immediately (incidentally, this is part of the contract, that they remove and dispose of the old carpets). The contractor assured me that he would call me in a week's time to collect the old carpets. Well, that never happened and I have had stinking, wet carpets in my front garden for two months now. Every time I call BW, they say they will call me back, but that NEVER happens. I have even called the BW call line, who knows if they will ever come back to me.
As of now I will not purchase anything for BW until this problem is resolved. I bad mouth them at every chance I get and discourage work colleagues, friends, etc from purchasing from them and inform them of this bad service I have received.
This type of service is totally unacceptable and is in fact a health risk and hazard. Maybe my next port of call should be the health department.

Thank you for your feedback.

I'd like to apologise for the service you received at our Northriding branch.

This is definitely not the type of experience we would want for you or any of our customers.

I have brought this to the relevant parties attention at our store for them to ensure that corrective measures are put in place.

Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention and I look forward to resolving this for you.

Have a wonderful day.

Kind Regards,
