Disgusting client care from Builders warehouse

Good day, I sent my mother to get me a lawn trimmer, she did. Couple of days later, I have time on my hands and want to do my gardening. I open the box, assemble the trimmer, plug it in, start trimming... less than 5 mins later, smoke starts coming out from trimmer, then seconds after that, it just stops working... I take it back to builders, on the 8th of March 2022, then we wait as they said they need to contact the supplier before taking any action, as if I bought it from the supplier, but I wait regardless. A week later, due to no communication from their part, I give them a call. I spoke to Johanna who told me that the item is still at builders and they waiting for the supplier to collect. Through my frustration firstly for the silence and secondly them not treating my issue with any urgency, I request to speak to someone in management, I get Samu, who tells me that there's nothing she can do for me as they have to wait for the supplier to come collect, I explain my frustration with the whole situation and the inconvenience caused by their incompetence, and all she says is that she will get her manager to call me. Now its day 2 after that confirmation and I'm still waiting, I called in again today and was told that she was busy.
