Disgruntled Builders Express Umhlanga shopper

I went to Builders yesterday. I stood in a que for a long time. When I eventually reached the front of the que I was asked if I intended to use my builders card. When I rep**** yes, they said I should stand aside and wait, whilst they gestured to 8 people who were behind me in the que to go forward to three different tills.

They were penalising me for using a Builders Card in a Builders store!

Eventually there were 12 of us waiting to pay for our collective goods. All upset and disgruntled with the way we were being treated.

I spoke to the manager. He told me he would sort the problem out.

How was he going to sort the “problem” out? Builders issues cards to their customers. When the customer attempts to use the benefits of the card, the customer is penalised. And made to wait extra long in an environment filled with the possibility of COVID 19 whilst the customers behind are greeted, welcomed and assisted without delay. Yours sincerely, Sandy Bond
