Delivery guys from witbank ***** from their customers

I am extremely disappointed by the way this matter has been handled.

I lodged a complaint with Customer Care regarding my watch that went missing following a delivery to my home on 15 May. Instead of receiving support and a proper investigation, I now feel as though I am being accused of lying and that the blame is being shifted onto my helper.

On the day of the delivery, I informed the delivery team that I was not at home and that only my helper was present. Despite this, they insisted on proceeding with the delivery, and I agreed. My watch was on top of the floating shelf before the delivery took place. Since that day, I have not seen it.

I deliberately took time before raising this concern because I did not want to jump to conclusions. I searched thoroughly and considered all possibilities before lodging a complaint. My helper has worked for me for so long , and I have never experienced any missing items in my home during her employment. For this reason, I find it unacceptable that responsibility is being redirected towards her without any basis.

What is also concerning is that the delivery personnel entered areas of my home that they should not have accessed. They are fully aware that they are expected to deliver the goods and not move around a customer’s home unnecessarily.

I have no reason to fabricate this complaint. The loss of my watch is upsetting enough, but being treated as though I am dishonest is even more frustrating. This entire experience has been emotionally exhausting, and I expect this matter to be taken seriously and investigated properly rather than dismissed or redirected.

I would appreciate a formal response outlining the steps being taken to investigate this matter and resolve my complaint.
