Deception on stock just to get your money

I wanted to order a new pool filter and saw that my closest store had one in stock. I ordered the item online and saw that I could go collect the next day. The next day I called to make sure because I saw in my order history that it was still in progress. Apparently the whole store was closed for stock take and I would not be able to collect. I then called again the following day to make sure I could I could come collect and was told they would call me back to confirm. I then got a call telling me they actually do not have stock and that it would take a minimum of 7 working days to try source stock... So I have payed the ****** money for something I needed quite urgently and now I am stuck.

I will never buy online from Builders again. If I had known this I would have just gone to a different store and bought what I needed. Absolutely furious with how things are run!
