Customer's are no longer Imprtant to them!

Builder's Warehouse have a built in Cupboard on Special which started on the 14th of November, however they started advertising it earlier and therefore we started enquiring about it the previous week to ensure we can get the certain colour we want. So on the 13th of November myself and my wife went to Builder's Northriding to find out more information, only to be told that they don't have any in stock, and apparently they possibly will not be getting stock because the supplier is closed. So we spoke to the manager, Eddie Combrink, who was going to sort it out for us on the Monday morning. Finally we get a call on Monday evening at 17:55, not from Eddie, but from the guy from the department who had just been told to phone us, and all we got told was what we were told on the previous day. So I proceeded to call Eddie on Tuesday the 15th, when he told me he was in a meeting with the head of that department and he was again going to sort it out and get back to me. Apparently there was stock in Pretoria as we had been told and he said they would be able to pull stock from the other branches which have stock. Well that day comes to a close, and I still had not received a phone call from Eddie by lunch time on the 16th, so I started trying to contact him. Surprisingly enough I couldn't get hold of him no matter how many times I tried, and was told he was not on the premises and also did not receive a call back from a message I left on his supposed direct line. So at about 15:30 on the 16th I phoned to speak to the branch manager, George May, who confirmed that Eddie aparently was there, and he was going to get him to sort it out. I gave George my cell phone number and asked that I please get a response that day still which he assured me I would. Needless to say, I am writing this because I have had no response.

It seems that Builder's Warehouse's service in general is non existant and unfortunately, we, the customers, are no longer important to them as they obviously print their own money and aren't reliant on customers who want to spend money at their stores. It is very unfortunate as it used to be that Builder's Warehouse was a one-stop shop for all materials needed for projects, but from now on I will be supporting the smaller mom and pop hardware stores who might not always have everything needed, but they offer service and will always make a plan to organise product if they don't have it, even if it means a slight delay, as opposed to so far waiting 4 days and still not having an answer from Builder's Warehouse on a promo item!
