Complaint Nr 2 - ******* Service

Complaint 1 : I buy a vacuum cleaner from Builders Warehouse on 17/06/17, less than ONE month later it just completely stops working. Upon taking it to our local store (Middelburg, MP) we are told that we need to take it to the Witbank store "to have it sent away for repairs". On 19/09 we eventually do manage to make the trip and we are told that it will be a two week wait. So we wait. On 09/11/17 (note that time passed) we receive a telephone call to say that the machine has been repaired and can be collected - we drive out all the way to the Witbank store. Low and behold, upon testing it in the store the machine is still as dead as a doorknob! Repeat process. Today is 27/11/17 and still no telephone call or machine.

We then receive said machine and low and behold we use it once and it stops working Again!

I bought a new product so I expect a new product, this one has now been "repaired" twice and I still have no vacuum cleaner!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

Kurt, honestly. What exactly is it that you need to "investigate"? We were obviously sold a defective product. Logic and good customer care should tell you that you should have exchanged it for us the first time we complained. You opted to rather send us from pillar to post with the "repairs". Having failed that exercise twice you now need to "investigate."? Again, logic should tell you that all you need to do is refund is so we can buy a machine elsewhere.
