Click to collect - A joke

After spending hours online to pick only products available at my local builders, sometimes paying more for a different item in stock, I showed up hours later to collect my 2 orders, ********** 757 and ********** 545. The website states you can collect 90 min after placing the order, but when I got there only a hand full of the items were available and in stock, I took those items and was promised delivery on Friday 7 December or latest Saturday 8 December for the remaining items.

I phoned on 8 December to confirm the delivery time and to query if the items were in stock, offering to drive through and collect it myself if it speeds up the process. Daniel promised to phone me back within minutes and 3 days later I am still waiting for her call.

I phoned them again now only to be on hold for 8 minutes and having the phone put down in my ear.

Rather use takealot, they are cheaper and they deliver earlier than promised every time. I spent a lot more at Builders Warehouse as I needed the tools urgently and could not wait for Takealot to deliver, guess what, I already have the delayed items from Takealot delivered for free and still waiting for the 90min to pass (5 days later) so I can collect from Builders.
