BYE BYE BUILDERS WAREHOUSE

Drove specially to Builders Warehouse on Wednesday to take advantage of their PENSIONERS DISCOUNT. I selected my goods and went to the till to pay. The cashier rang up the goods and I asked for my discount to be told - THESE ITEMS ARE ON SPECIAL SO NO DISCOUNT - I asked for an explanation but couldn't get one - the supervisor came across but she also couldn't explain - I asked to speak to the manager - BUT NO MANAGERS AVAILABLE !!!!!! I reluctantly paid for the items and left. I later phoned and spoke to a Sales Manager who said - \There is a framed A4 picture in the foyer which explains everything"- I didn't see this - he also said \""All items on special have a blue label so you should check the labels\"" - how are customers supposed to check the colour codes on the labels and understand what they are supposed to mean. So bottom line a wasted journey to Rivonia and no discount on the items purchased. I don't have to shop at Builders Warehouse there are plenty DIY shops nearby who charge the same prices on the same goods. So for a measly rejected 10% discount Builders Warehouse have now lost all my future business worth thousands of Rands . BYE BYE BUILDERS WAREHOUSE"""
