Builders Warehouse Useless ( Riverhorse Valley Durban)

Builders warehouse!!! ( ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC!!!) (Riverhorse Valley Durban Store)

Recently placed online order for Jojo water tank and pump on Builders warehouse online, Order and items where confirmed and payment made delivery date was given.

One week later on the day of delivery no communication with regards to an eta of delivery time. As Builders warehouse online seems to think customers have the entire day to sit at home waiting for orders. I called into service center requesting feedback on the status of my order.

I am then informed that my prefered store is in the picking stages of my order ("What's does this mean") Trying to understand how my order went from scheduled delivery date to picking stage is a mystery.

I am then informed that the items I have ordered are not in stock and that my items will only be delivered once items are available. At this stage I had received no communication from the store itself informing me of this, Surely there is a online purchase manager in store who updates customers accordingly of changes.

I am then contacted the next day after delivery was supposed to be made telling me unfortunately stock of my requested items is not available and they are trying to source the items for me. A few more days pass I am then contacted by the mystery man (Online purchases manager) who has been missing in action throughout my whole online order experience informing me they located the right items and that delivery would then take place on the 21/06/22 as they where receiving stock of one of the items on 20/06/22 and would be easier to deliver all items together on specified date, almost a week later than the original confirmed delivery date.

Which I agree which will be more convenient from a delivery perspective for the store, I am informed that I will be notified before delivery takes place on the day of so I can make myself available, I also requested a delivery time of 9am morning of delivery as I have a busy scheduled, And they have wasted more than enough of my time already leading up to this point but does Builders warehouse (Riverhorse Valley) have the same sentiment towards my needs and conveniences as a customer I think not.

Day of delivery 21 of June 2022 10am no sign of delivery no call no feedback. I then call the service center wanting to find out what is going on have you know this is the only number you can actually get through too if you need to speak to someone, One can never get through to the store directly nobody picks up. The service center tells me they will try to find out what is going on this after me speaking to 3 separate service center agents from the morning of delivery. It's now 16.30 in the afternoon the truck shows up to my house for delivery which is not the stipulated delivery address given on the order.

I then have to drop everything that I am doing jump into my car and take them to the right delivery address so they can deliver my items which is less than 10km from the store and still have to deal with attitude from delivery truck assistants because they got the wrong address, because it's past their time of work and they still have other deliveries. Whose fault is that now I have been waiting for delivery that was supposed to be delivered last week already.

So I politely ask Builders warehouse (Riverhorse Valley Nandi drive Durban) what the hell is going on you should have considered closing down the store entirely and not a store renovation.

There is only one thing that is going to come out of this store staying open and that is a whole lot of unsatisfied customers. Please consider closing your online order portal as it clearly does not work I will never conclude a online order with Builders warehouse ever again. You can take your 15% discount and put it up in a place that doesn't get any sunshine.
