Builders Warehouse Strubens Valley - A Disrespectful Bunch

Oh boy! Where to start? Builders Warehouse Strubens Valley is pathetic to say the least. We have had the worst customer experience at this shop of our lives. Me and my wife went paint shopping there on Saturday 30 May 2020. We need to repaint our kitchen, and we know what paint can go directly onto melamine without primer as we were properly informed by the paint staff at Leroy Merlin. Unfortunately they did not have stock of the paint we require, hence we had to shop at Builders Warehouse. Builders did have stock, however we just wanted to make double sure that we buy the right paint. Upon asking a lady in the paint department we can use the paint directly on melamine, she said no we have to primer first for any paint. When I showed her that on the tin it says we can use it directly her snotty remark was: "Well, then if the tin says so then use it." This was already bad service but non the less, we continued. We then proceeded to ask the lady for a quote on mixing colours as the tin on the shelf was just white paint. She gave us the different prices and we then decided on our colours. When we finally decided, I took the white tin of the shelf, and wanted to have it mixed. We then asked for another person in the paints department, his name was Buoy. This is where it went pear-shaped. I gave him the white tin to be mixed where he just started smirking at us and saying: "You can't mix that tin of paint." We then told him that we were just informed that we can colour this paint by the previous lady. He then just slapped his tongue and went off on the lady for giving us the wrong info. My wife then told him that he can't speak to us in that manner as we are the customers. He then carried on with us and raised his voice even higher the more we are trying to tell him that we were just informed that we can mix the paint. He eventually started shouting at us, to a point where a Plascon representative also jumped in and started being ****y with us by saying "Are we going to mix the paint now, or do you first want to see the manager." Eventually the sales manager pitched and we explained our story to him, where he said he will sort it out. We then got the paint mixed and we left the paint section looking for plant. I then remembered that I did not get rollers and I returned to the paint section. Upon my arrival at the paint section, all the paint staff was busy mocking my wife's rant. and the Plascon employee was pretending to be my wife and jumping around for all the paint staff's amu*****t saying: "IIma the customer, I'm the customer, you won't talk to me...." I then totally lost my cool and confronted him for mocking my wife. The staff are absolutely disrespectful and arrogant, and Builders Warehouse Strubens Valley will never see me again. I will also make it my life's mission to bad mouth this shop as far and wide as I can.
