Builders warehouse Somerset West really needs to ramp up their customer service, which should start with the management of that store. The staff is never available to assist, standing in little groups chatting and laughing. When asking management who can assist you, they dont get up, they just sit and say there is staff there to help. I wanted to buy a nail gun, eventually got someone to assist, i ask a question, he answers and walks away, I call him back and say I am not finish yet, ask another question, he answers and immediately turns around and walks, this happened 3 times. I buy the nail gun based on his "expert" advice. Only to find out at home he really had no clue what he talked about. Took the nail gun back on Sunday 19 October 2025 at 08:20 for a refund only to check my bank statement and hour later to realise I got a debit of R2200 instead of a credit. Went back to the store just past 11 just to get told by the two managers on duty its not their problem, speak to your bank. Like I said, absolutely nobody in that store knows how to speak to customers, know their products, or are even willing to do the basics that they get paid to do. Sad to see this store going down the drain.
