BUILDERS WAREHOUSE RIP THEIR CLIENTS OFF!!!

On the 11/10/2020, I saw a garden set advertised on Builders Warehouse website for R800 for the complete set of 1 table and 6 chairs. When I tried to order it, Builder’s Warehouse reflected on their website that there was no stock countrywide.

I then sent an email to Builders Warehouse asking them how they can advertise a product which they do not have stock of anywhere in the country.

I received a response back from them that I had to now order the table and chairs individually – at an increased price. I have since purchased the set at a price of R1005. This is R205 more than what Builders Warehouse were advertising the product for.

I believe that this is false advertising on the part of Builders Warehouse and they should be forced to meet their commitments.

I have since submitted a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority.
