Builders Warehouse Ridicules Payment Policy

Builders Warehouse Ridicules Payment Policy

I am really not one that likes to complain but this is a bit over the top ridiculous. Over the last few months I have been having problems with the Builders card Credit account I think managed by RSC They never sent the customer a statement and most or the time one has to do a calculated guess as to what your payment for the month is (remember this changes depending on the purchases made with the card during the month) If one happens to miss calculate and make a short payment of even R5 you will receive an SMS after the 1st to say that “Your builders card payment was due on the 1st please make a payment”, so now you think but I did make a payment on the 23rd why are they saying I didn’t make a payment. Now the nightmare starts you make the dreaded phone call and when you finally get to speak to someone you have to verify your account and only to hear that you got the SMS because you short payed by R5. They send out SMS’s at least 3 times a month to say your balance is *** and that you have *** credit available to spend But you never get a statement that gives you the balance or the payment amount. I hate getting notices that I am in arrears with any account so I try to rectify this by paying a double payment and so doing be at least a payment ahead. Well guess what (LOL have you ever seen anything so ridicules) If you make a payment to Builders Credit of any amount before the 13th of the month then you are still liable for the full payment on the 1st of the month. I contacted them to tell them I was about the make a double payment today 8/11/21 for the 1st of Nov and the 1st of Dec They told me that my account will reflect arrears and overdue monthly payments and that I will be listed as a bad payer I know there are EFT and Stop Order available but I always pay cash and I don’t want to be worried about accounts at home while I am out of the country I can’t believe that a company that size has such a ridicules policy James Kidd
